Molly O'Day and Lynn Davis were on their way to becoming major country & western stars when they quit the business in 1950 to focus on their religious faith. They moved to Huntington, where they were baptized in the Ohio River. For a while, Lynn became a minister, and Molly sang only in churches. In the 1960s, they began to record gospel albums again for different record companies. In 1973, Molly and Lynn started a gospel music radio show on WEMM-FM in Huntington. Lynn continued the program after Molly's death in 1987 until he passed away in 2000. He always started the show with Molly's recording of the song "Living the Right Life Now."

Molly O’Day was inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame in 2007.
