St. George's Chapel (also known as Norborne Church or Berkeley Church) is a historic ruin near Charles Town (Jefferson County). It was part of the Anglican Church's Norborne Parish. The chapel was built around 1771 using local limestone. It was a large building, two stories high, with two rows of windows on every side. The elaborate pulpit was likely a gift, built and carved in London.

After the American colonies won Independence, the Anglican Church (the official Church of England) lost its funding and government support. Without money, the chapel began to suffer from neglect and damage. By 1803, the Anglican Church had lost all its property, and the chapel was abandoned when a new church was built nearby in Charles Town.

Today, the ruins of St. George's Chapel are about a mile west of Charles Town and are often mentioned in local stories and literature.
