This Morgantown native is best known for his roles on the TV shows Dark Shadows and Falcon Crest. He earned degrees from West Virginia University and a doctorate in drama from Southern Illinois University.

Selby has acted on stage, including Broadway, and in movies such as Rich and Famous and Raise the Titanic. He has won many awards for his acting and has been honored by WVU and several theaters.

He played Abraham Lincoln in a 2009 play for Lincoln’s 200th birthday. Selby also has written books, including one about Lincoln.
