Monongalia County General Hospital opened in the Evansdale section of Morgantown, WV.

Heiskell Memorial Hospital opened in downtown Morgantown, WV. In the 1950s, it was acquired by the Pallotine Order and renamed St. Vincent Pallotti Hospital.

Mon General merged with St. Vincent Pallotti to become the Mon Health Medical Center.

The Mon Health Medical Center opened its new facility on J. D. Anderson Drive in Morgantown, WV.
