SharePrint Blue-Gray Highway Dedication

US Route 33 in WV has been designated the Blue-Gray Highway in recognition of the many Civil War events in the region. Dedication activities will include demonstrations by Wise’s Legion Civil War re-enactors, the Tower Street Stringband, Mary Lincoln of History Alive! and a viewing of the movie “Averell’s Raiders and the 35th Star.” Events will be on the lawn of the Jackson County Courthouse and the adjacent Alpine Theatre.
