The 41st Annual West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival

Location/County: Clarksburg, Harrison
August 30, 2019 — September 01, 2019

The West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival will celebrate its 41st anniversary during Labor Day Weekend 2019, August 30th through September 1st. The WVIHF has in the past been rated among the “Top 100 Events in North America” by the American Bus Association, a “Top 20 Event” by the Southeast Tourism Society and one of the “Top Four Italian Festivals in the Nation” by the National Sons of Italy.

The Festival offers a wide array of authentic Italian “street food”, complete with pastries, that one can eat on-the-go so that watching the entertainers and visiting the vendor booths can be done with ease! There is entertainment for the bambini as well, with a specially designated children’s area, with stage and entertainment for the kiddos, as well as a safe carnival midway, with rides and games. From the opening ceremonies, when the royal court of Regina Maria (Regina meaning “Queen” and Maria the name of the first queen of Italy), is crowned, to its conclusion with the traditional festival dance, the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival overflows with entertainment and delight.
