Civil War re-enactor and musician Donnie Jones is the guest speaker of the Jackson County Historical Society. Jones will offer tunes on his anglo concertina. The 2 p.m. Oct. 16 meeting is on the ground level of Harrison Building on South Street across from the Ripley Police Department. Everyone is welcome at the free event.
