America’s Largest Small Town Independence Day Celebration features a pageant (June 27), gospel sing (June 28), carnival (June 30-July 4) and fibbin’ contest (July 3) and flea market (July 2-4). Activities on July 4 include a pancake breakfast (7:30-10 a.m.), stage entertainment, Firecracker 2-Miler Race (11:30 a.m.), Grand Parade (noon), Red, White & Blue BBQ (6 p.m.), Freedom 40 at I-77 Raceway Park and fireworks (10 p.m.). http://www.ripley4thofjuly.us/
