The Van Camp historical marker is just north of the Wetzel/Tyler line along Route 180. The Van Camps lived in Tyler County as well as Wetzel. The old Van Camp post office sat on or near the Wetzel/Tyler line. In my book, Growing Up Appalachian is a picture of the post office that served the area when it was still part of Virginia and well into the late 1800s. We often forget these beloved old communities.
