I am interested in areas of the state where “Old Growth Forests” still are protected and have many diverse trees. Is there even a remnant of trees left that have never been cut for the logging industry. Also—does the W.V. Nature Conservancy offer any incentives to landowners who wish to plant an array of native trees to create a forest that will be protected in perpetuity and land-marked as protected with a conservation easement for future “Old Growth Forests”? I would be grateful for a response—thank you
