On a chilly morning in early October 2010, while visiting Bearton State Park, we really enjoyed its natural beauty. From the old iron hand pump drinking fountain, to the boardwalk that made an easy path through rugged terrain. The signs explaining the unusual formations surrounding us were easy to understand. It’s a good place to purge the mind of the clutter of modern life and linger for a while in eons past.
