Events

Railroad history will be the theme at the historic Alpine Theatre in Ripley. Railroad historian Dan Robie will have a presentation about the old Ripley & Mill Creek Valley and Ravenswood, Spencer and Glenville lines at 2 p.m. WV entertainer Mick Souter will be on stage at 4 p.m. with songs and stories in “All Aboard the Iron Horse.” The afternoon is co-sponsored by the Jackson County Historical Society and the Ripley Convention & Visitors Bureau.
