Angela Cheng, praised for her brilliant technique and tonal beauty, plays Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 on this German themed concert. The program begins with Mozart’s spirited Six German Dances written an hour before guests arrived at a party and closes with Schumann’s Symphony No. 3, with its exuberant depiction of the Rhine River.
