SharePrint Elk River Festival WVHC Event

The Buffalo Creek Recreational Trail is set to open during the Elk River Festival, June 5-6. The 22-mile trail begins at Pisgah, across Elk River from the town of Clay, and continues on through Dundon, Adair, Cressmont, Swandale, and ends at Widen. Festival programming includes a Cherokee Indian exhibition and lecture and demonstration of old time dance and music by Mack Samples on June 6 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. For more information contact Roberta Faile at faile@carolina.rr.com.
