Legislature established the West Virginia State Colored Tuberculosis Sanitarium

Dr. B. A. Crichlow was named superintendent of the Denmar Hospital and the sanitarium received its first patients

1938

Ground was broken in Pocahontas County for a new three-story building which became known as Denmar Hospital

Patients were moved into the new Denmar Hospital facility
