231 acres of Jackson County land that would become the Cedar Lakes Conference Center was deeded to the state Board of Education to establish a training center for Future Farmers of America and Future Homemakers of America students

The camp now known as Cedar Lakes Conference Center officially opened in Jackson County

The first Mountain State Art & Craft Fair opened at Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Jackson County, ending on July 7

Jul 01, 2016

Management of the Cedar Lakes Conference Center was transferred to the state Department of Agriculture
