I spent many a night at Watt Powell Park watching baseball games. My most enduring memory was the wind. I have always said that Watt Powell Park was the coldest place in West Virginia when the wind blew. I loved the park, and I was sorry to see it go. The new baseball park is beautiful and nice, but it will never replace Watt Powell Park.
