I went to the gathering in 2005! I Was in my 20’s and lived in Marlinton. I personally thought it was great. Fun and interesting. It also brought business to the local area. My family had the only music store in town at the time. There is nothing for the young people to do besides hunting, fishing, searching for ginseng, which is all great. My brother built the local skate board park for more recreation fun. The more things to do in beautiful Pocahontas County, all the better. I’d like to see the Rainbow Gathering return. If any information on a returning event date please post and share. Will definitely make my way back and make it a family affair. Peace, love, and happiness to all. Megan79
