  • Recycled Percussion's Junk Rock at Chuck Mathena Center

    Legendary New Hampshire born junk rock band, Recycled Percussion lights up the stage for one show only at the Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton, WV on Saturday, April 1 at 7pm. Don’t miss this show straight outta Las Vegas!Tickets are just $30 and are on sale now!

    Recycled Percussion was discovered on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2009. Since then, they’ve been unstoppable, playing 4500 shows, over 500 corporate events in 15 countries, and establishing their own show in Las Vegas – the entertainment capitol of the world. Recycled Percussion is a wild mix of unorthodox talent, extreme athleticism, musical precision and insane antics. All performed on recycled instruments, and on anything you can think of like hubcaps, garbage cans, power tools and even each other. To quote MTV, they are, “Entertainment at its highest level.”

  • 8th Annual Bowed Psaltery Symphony

    April 02, 2017 — Beckley, Raleigh

    Join us at the 8th Annual Bowed Psaltery Symphony at Tamarack.

    Symphony participants will meet on Thursday March 30th through Sunday, April 2nd. The performance will take place in Tamarack’s Governor Hulett C. Smith Theater at 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 2nd. The performance is free to the public. 60+ musicians travel from all around the country to participate in this event and to perform for you. This year’s performance will have a “water” theme and will feature song and tunes such as “The Water is Wide”, “Down to the River to Pray”, “Skye Boat Song” and many more.

  • 10th annual West Virginia Chocolate Festival

    April 08, 2017 — Ripley, Jackson

    Ripley is ‘choc’ full of things to do during the 10th annual West Virginia Chocolate Festival on April 8th. Vendors from across the region will be selling their chocolate specialties from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Ripley Elementary. The Cossin Brothers and Corey Hager will entertain with live music. The Chocolate Parade marches through downtown Ripley at 10 a.m.

  • Alpine 80th Anniversary

    April 23, 2017 — Ripley, Jackson

    The historic Alpine Theatre will celebrate it’s 80th anniversary with a special showing of Disney’s 1937 classic ‘Snow White.’ The show is at 2 p.m. on April 23rd and will feature special guests and 1937 prices for admission and concessions. It is located at 210 W. Main Street in Ripley.
