Teacher Institute at WVU, “Cultural Change: The Creative Forces Behind Early Modernism,” will explore how transformations in art, music, dance and literature in the early 20th century came to define Modernism. Educators will work in teams to develop lesson plans that encourage critical thinking about Modernism and cultural change. Teacher Institute participants will tour the National Museum of African Art and the Phillips Collection in Washington. The institute takes place June 17 – 22 in Morgantown.
