SharePrint Eyes on China: the Living Legacy of the Arts in Chinese Culture WVHC Event

Dr. Sally dhruva Stephenson, Associate Professor at Frostburg State University will present a lecture-demonstration entitled “Eyes on China:the Living Legacy of the Arts in Chinese Culture” at the Landmark Studio for the Arts in Sutton. She will show how China’s modern culture embraces the ancient Chinese fine arts including poetry, painting, calligraphy, sculpture and more, as well as carrying on the folk art traditions such as shadow puppetry, weaving and embroidery.
